Board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, she/her

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in nursing across long-term care and psychiatric settings, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care.

I specialize in evidence-based treatment for a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, OCD, PTSD and trauma, using a holistic and collaborative approach.

Where This Work Comes From

Dakota Psychiatric Care was founded on my belief that everyone deserves compassionate, respectful and accessible mental healthcare. My work in nursing and my own experience of life's challenges strengthened my commitment to helping people feel heard, valued and supported.

My vision is for this practice to become a trusted provider of compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care in Minot and surrounding communities, with a special focus on maternal mental health and the needs of each stage of life.

Different Stages of Life

I opened this practice to provide personalized, evidence-based psychiatric care to adolescents and adults at different stages of life.

New Mothers

Maternal mental health is my primary focus, including postpartum depression and anxiety.

Older Adults

My work in long-term care gave me a particular interest in depression, anxiety, dementia-related behavioral changes and other psychiatric concerns later in life.

Teens

Teenagers face unique emotional, social and developmental challenges, and they deserve a place to speak without fear of judgment.

Adults and Healthcare Workers

Adults at any stage are welcome, including the people who spend their working days caring for others.

What I Am Trying to Do Here

My mission is to reduce mental health stigma, promote early intervention, support families, and help people face life's challenges with dignity, hope and understanding.

  1. 1

    Individualized Care

Each plan is built around your history and what you want care to look like.

  2. 2

    Compassionate and Thoughtful Care

You should feel seen, heard and supported, and never rushed to a label.

  3. 3

    Brain Health and Overall Wellness

Your mental health is connected to the rest of your life, so we keep the whole picture in view.
