It Often Sounds Like This

  • I can't stop worrying about life.
  • I have been feeling very anxious lately.

You can say it just that plainly. You don't need a more clinical description.

What Anxiety Can Touch

Anxiety rarely stays in one lane, so the evaluation looks at more than the worry itself.

Your Thoughts

The what-ifs, the replaying of conversations, the trouble turning your mind off.

Your Body

Tension, a racing heart, an unsettled stomach, or sleep that won't come.

Your Days

What you have started avoiding, and what is taking longer than it used to.

What Sits Beside It

Depression, trauma, OCD or a big life change can travel with anxiety and affect the plan.

If This Sounds Like You

I see teens, young adults, adults and seniors. You may have felt anxious for as long as you can remember, or it may have caught you off guard after a new baby, a loss, a diagnosis or a stretch of hard work.

If you have been told to just relax, you already know how much that helps. We start with what is going on for you.

How Care for Anxiety Works

Treatment is evidence-based and built around you. It may include medication management and CBT or DBT skills.

What We Work Toward

Everyone feels anxious sometimes, and no plan removes that altogether. What we work toward is less of your day being run by worry, and more room for the things you care about.

How that goes differs from person to person, and I won't put a timeline on it. We keep checking in and adjusting.

Fees in Brief

An evaluation is $300 and follow-ups are $125. Evening appointments are available on request, which can make it easier to fit care around work.

Questions About Anxiety Care

Is what I have bad enough to see someone?

If it is on your mind enough that you are reading this page, it is worth 15 minutes of conversation.

Will you put me on medication right away?

We start with the evaluation, and medication decisions are made together.

Do you use CBT or DBT?

Yes, both can be part of the supportive interventions in your plan.
