Who This Is For
This page is for adults who have been told they have a bipolar disorder, or who need a psychiatric provider to continue their care.
- You have stretches of low mood and other stretches of unusual energy, little sleep or big decisions.
- You were treated for depression and something about it never quite fit.
- You moved, lost your provider, or want a fresh look at your plan.
What We Look At
Bipolar disorders call for a careful history, so the evaluation takes its time.
Your Mood Over Time
The highs and lows, how long they last, and what tends to come before them.
Sleep
How your sleep changes, and what those changes tell us.
Treatment So Far
What you have taken, how it went, and what you would change.
Your Life and Goals
Work, family and what you want your days to look like.
How Care Works
Ongoing care matters here, so follow-up is built into the plan from the start.
- 1
Evaluation
60 to 90 minutes on your history and current concerns, in person or by telehealth.
- 2
Shared Plan
A plan that may include medication management and supportive interventions, with decisions made together.
- 3
Regular Check-Ins
Follow-up sessions to assess symptoms and how a medication is working, and to address side effects.
A Long View
Living with a bipolar disorder is usually a long-term matter, and how people respond to treatment varies. I can't promise a particular result. I can offer careful attention, plain explanations and a plan you have a real voice in, with your overall wellness in view.

An evaluation is $300. Follow-up sessions are $125 for 30 to 45 minutes.
