Two Ways to Be Seen From Bismarck
My only office is in Minot, and Bismarck, the state capital, sits a real drive to the south. That leaves you two ways to be seen. You can meet with me by telehealth, from a private spot at home where you can talk freely, or you can make the drive north and sit down with me at the office.
Telehealth is often the simpler choice from Bismarck. It saves the drive and keeps you close to work, home and whatever else needs you that day. Coming in person may suit you better if you feel more at ease face to face, or if a change of scene makes it easier to talk.
What My Practice Covers
Perinatal mental health is my primary specialty, and it sits alongside care for a range of other concerns.
Pregnancy and After Birth
Worry or low mood during pregnancy, postpartum depression and anxiety, and the hard months that can follow a high-risk birth.
Anxiety and Depression
Worry that has started to run your days, or a low mood that has settled in and stayed, for teens 13 to 17, young adults, adults and seniors.
Trauma, OCD and Bipolar Disorders
Reactions that stay after hard events, intrusive thoughts and rituals, and shifts in mood and energy, each looked at with a careful evaluation.
Later Life and Healthcare Work
Depression, anxiety and dementia-related behavioral changes in older adults, along with care for nurses, aides, techs and others who look after people for a living.
Starting Care From Bismarck
The steps are the same three, wherever your evaluation happens.

- 1
A Free 15-Minute Phone Consult
A short call where you tell me what is going on, ask your questions and decide whether this feels like a good fit.
- 2
Your Initial Evaluation
60 to 90 minutes for $300, by telehealth from Bismarck or in person at the Minot office, ending with a plan we build together and a next appointment.
- 3
Follow-Up Sessions
Visits of 30 to 45 minutes, $125 each, to review progress and symptoms, see how any medication is working and adjust the plan. How often we meet depends on your plan.
If You Would Rather Make the Drive
You may feel more settled talking face to face, and that is a good reason to come to Minot. The office is at 700 Western Ave SW, Suite 100. Winter roads make long drives harder, so keep the season in mind when you book. The evaluation itself runs 60 to 90 minutes, so give the day some room.
Whichever way you choose, there is no set timeline for feeling better, and I won't invent one. What you can count on is a careful evaluation, a plan you helped shape and steady attention to your brain health and overall wellness.
Fees in Brief
There is no charge for the 15-minute phone consult, and follow-up sessions are $125. The initial evaluation is $300, whether you drive to Minot or stay home in Bismarck.
