When the Days Are Long
Tioga is in northwestern North Dakota, farther west than Stanley, and my office is in Minot. If your work days run long, the drive east for an appointment can feel like one more shift. Telehealth lets you be seen from home instead, from a private spot where you can talk freely.
Evening appointments are available on request, which can help when daytime hours belong to your job. Long days can wear on sleep, mood and patience, and it is easy to keep putting your own health last. Reaching out is a way of moving it up the list.
What You Can Bring
I see teens 13 to 17, young adults, adults and seniors, for concerns like these.
Worry That Rides Along
Anxiety that can follow you through the day, keep your mind busy on the drive home and make it hard to switch off.
Low Mood That Lingers
Depression that can make long days feel longer, take the pleasure out of time off and leave you running on fumes.
Things You Have Carried
Trauma and PTSD, with memories, nightmares or a constant sense of being on guard that can stay long after the event.
Other Concerns I Treat
OCD, bipolar disorders, care during pregnancy and after birth, which is my primary specialty, and psychiatric concerns later in life.
Fitting the Steps Around Work
If daytime does not work for you, ask for an evening appointment.

- 1
A Free Phone Consult
A 15-minute call, free of charge, to say what has been happening and how your schedule looks.
- 2
Your Evaluation From Home
Telehealth from somewhere private in North Dakota, or the Minot office if you prefer, for 60 to 90 minutes and $300.
- 3
Follow-Up Sessions
Shorter visits of 30 to 45 minutes, at $125, to go over progress, check on any medication and adjust the plan.
Making Room for Your Own Health
When work takes most of your hours, your own health can end up waiting for a slower season that never quite arrives. You can reach out before then. In the evaluation and the visits after it, we sort through what is happening together, shape a plan that fits your days and keep your brain health and overall wellness in view.
I won't promise how fast anything will shift, because that is different for everyone. What you will get from me is a careful listen, plain explanations, a plan we keep adjusting together and respect for the life you are actually living.
Fees in Brief
A free 15-minute phone consult comes first. The initial evaluation is $300, and each follow-up session after it is $125.
